A Day at the Office: HomeworkThe scratching sound of a pen being dragged across paper filled the quiet office as Phoenix signed his name upon another document. It was, of course, one of a myriad of documents filling up his desk space. They were all from a recent case Phoenix had taken, and he had been toiling at them with little more than the dim light of his desk lamp supporting him for the better half of the evening. Unable to focus his attention on the seemingly endless sheets of white and black in front of him, he let his eyes wonder. OrangeThis cold and lonely place has become my prison for the past five years. Spending five years alone can take its toll on a person.   
Well, I'm not completely alone. There's also Harry, but he doesn't say much of anything. All he does is huddle in the corner, not moving a single inch. Sometimes I question whether or not he's still alive. But he is still living.   
If you were to ask him why he stays in the corner, unmoving, he would answer, "I am an orange. If I move I will burst and my juices will leak."

Russian RouletteHave you ever played a game of solo Russian Roulette? The idea may sound idiotic at first, but there's benefit if you're not exactly lookin' to win.   
A bullet to the head. The fast way out. They say that a bullet straight to the head shouldn't hurt at all. A painless death, or so they say... It's not as if there's anyone left to tell the tale. Frankly, I don't give a damn if it's painless or not.   
I load a single bullet into the chamber of my magnum revolver, spin it, and lock it in place. The muzzle goes got my head, the gun is cocked, and my finger pulls the trigger.

One Year Anniversary of a Journal Update.

Well, it's nearly been a full year since I've made a new journal entry and submitted a new deviation. I've been feeling a fit of inspiration coming on, so anyone that cares can expect a wave of new prose - both original and fan fiction - to be submitted rather frequently this summer. Today, I have submitted the first chapter of a Phoenix Wright fan fiction called, A Day at the Office. You can see more details about the series itself in the Artist's Comments space under the first chapter.

I have a few ideas of new stories that have been churning around in my head for a while now, and are just waiting to be typed up. Some shows/games that I have ideas about basing the stories on are more Ace Attorney, some Azumanga Daioh!, Battle Angel Alita, and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou/Quiet Country Cafe/Yokohama Shopping Trip. I may provide more details about these ideas for both the original fiction and fan fiction in a later journal entry.

I don't think I'll be drawing much at all, since I've pretty much given that up. I want to thank anyone who has commented on any of my deviations in the past, though! I hope to be much more active in the future.
